In other drinks related news we’ve got a little something exciting in from Sweden recently. Brannland Iscider has become a recent addition to our dessert wines and has very quickly become one of mine and Holly’s favourites. Ice-Cider originated in Quebec using the same process as ice-wine but replacing the grapes with apples. Brannland started making cider in 2010 and soon realised that the climate in the north of Sweden was far more suited to ice-cider, and they were definitely right! Delicious!
We’re currently stocking the 2013 vintage which has beautiful autumnal apple flavours, and soon to be moving onto the 2014 which shows more finesse and crisper more floral tones.
